Port FC Win President’s Cup After Beating Oxford United

Port FC made history by winning the 2025 President’s Cup, defeating Oxford United 2–1 at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung.

Head coach Alexandre Torreira da Gama Lima, who leads the Thai-based club, stated that the victory was the result of thorough preparation ahead of the 2025–26 season.

“We came with a strong determination to win the title and start the new season with success,” said Gama.

The team, which features Asnawi Mangkualam, not only secured the championship but also delivered an impressive run by eliminating last season’s Liga 1 champions, Persib Bandung, and runners-up Dewa United on their way to the trophy.

Port FC’s triumph was rewarded with a cash prize of Rp5.5 billion as the 2025 President’s Cup champions.
