Port FC stuns Oxford United to claim 2025 President’s Cup

Football Association of Thailand (FAT) President Nualphan Lamsam — known as Madam Pang — expressed her pride in Port FC’s achievement of winning the 2025 President’s Cup.

Port FC, arriving without favorite status, managed to record a surprising achievement in this pre-season tournament — defeating English Championship club Oxford United 2-1 at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung.

In a thrilling final match, Oxford United took the lead through Mark Harris in the 9th minute. However, Port FC turned the tide with goals from Teerasak Poeiphimai in the 44th minute and Barayan Perea in the 48th minute.

The Thai team showed impressive performance throughout the tournament — proving that non-favorite status was no barrier to claiming the prestigious trophy in front of an incredible Indonesian supporter atmosphere.
