Port FC comes back to win President’s Cup 2025 against Oxford United

Port FC lifted the 2025 President’s Cup trophy after a comeback victory over Oxford United in the final at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung. The match proceeded without Ole Romeny and Marselino Ferdinan in the squad, while Asnawi Mangkualam had to settle for a place on the bench.

The team owned by Erick Thohir and Anindya Bakrie started with aggressive pressing from the kickoff. Thomas Harris put Oxford United ahead in the seventh minute with a low shot after receiving a pass from Tyler Goodrham — despite initial offside concerns.

Uzbek referee Firdavs Norsafarov validated the goal after consulting with the VAR team led by Muhammad Taqi Aljaafari and Andy Tan from Singapore. Oxford United dominated the first 30 minutes before the match momentum shifted following the water break.
