Player Crisis at Persib Bandung After Releasing 13 Players

Liga 1 2025/26 champions, Persib Bandung — is facing a player crisis following a massive squad overhaul.

Under coach Bojan Hodak, the team that just won consecutive Liga 1 titles now needs to rebuild its composition — after releasing all foreign players.

Eight foreign players released:

• Tyronne Del Pino
• Kevin Ray Mendoza
• Nick Kuipers
• Mateo Kocijan
• Ciro Alves
• Gervane Kastaneer
• Gustavo Franca
• David da Silva

Additionally, five local players have left the club:

• Victor Igbonefo
• Ahmad Agung
• Edo Febriansah
• Ryan Kurnia
• Rachmat Irianto

Currently, Persib’s squad consists of only 16 players — including two goalkeepers, Teja Paku Alam and Sheva Sanggasi.
