Pieter Huistra Aims to Improve PSS Sleman’s Performance Ahead of Clash with Persib Bandung

Pieter Huistra emphasized the importance of PSS Sleman’s performance ahead of their match against Persib Bandung, as stated on the official league website.

“On the other hand, what we must emphasize is making sure that PSS players perform well. Perform well as a team, both defensively and offensively, in order to win the upcoming match against Persib,” said the Dutch coach.

The team is currently facing a tough situation — PSS Sleman is trying to recover from a string of disappointing results in recent matches.

“We know that in situations like this, it’s difficult to find something positive. Of course, this affects the players’ mentality. When I first arrived here, the players’ mental state was much worse than it is now.”

Even so, Huistra has seen positive progress in the team’s attitude — the players are showing determination in training and a strong will to improve their game.
