According to Formula 1 analysts, Oscar Piastri has shown remarkable resilience after his Melbourne incident — securing two victories in Shanghai and Bahrain, plus a third-place podium in Suzuka.

The Australian driver now sits just three points behind teammate Lando Norris — who was previously favored to claim this season’s championship title.

Piastri’s calm and efficient driving style proves to be his main strength. His manager, Mark Webber, who nearly claimed the championship title in 2010, provides valuable experience in handling team dynamics.

  • Consistent performance in every session
  • Ability to adapt to technical issues
  • Professional approach on and off track
  • Significant development potential

However, competition with defending champion Max Verstappen cannot be underestimated. The Red Bull driver proved his capability by claiming pole position in Suzuka, despite his car not being in optimal condition.

“Piastri is a cold-blooded driver who handles things with a poker face, without necessarily showing it. Cold but clinical, he maximized every opportunity,” states F1 observer Basile Davoine.

With the competitive MCL39 car, this season’s title fight is predicted to remain intense until the end — especially approaching the flexible wing ban implementation in Barcelona.
