Peter de Roo reveals Persis Solo’s foreign player strategy for next season

Coach Peter de Roo has revealed that Persis Solo will not maximize their foreign player quota for the Super League 2025-2026 competition — the team plans to add just one new foreign player.

Laskar Sambernyawa currently has seven foreign players in their squad:

• Cleylton Santos
• Sho Yamamoto
• Jordy Tutuarima
• Adriano Castanheira
• Kodai Tanaka
• Xandro Schenk
• Fuad Sule

“The regulations have changed several times here, last I heard 8 players can play, 11 can be registered,” stated de Roo after a friendly match against Tornado FC at UNS Stadium.

“I think we won’t fill all 11 positions, not all positions will be covered. We already have 7 but there’s one position that will be filled with one more,” added the Dutch coach.
