Malaysia national team head coach, Peter Cklamovski, has called on fans to unite and support the team ahead of a crucial match against Vietnam in the third round of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers, as reported by New Straits Times.

Malaysia will host Vietnam — currently ranked 109th in the FIFA rankings — at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur on June 10, 2025, in their Group F fixture.

“We’re going into a big match. Please support this team,” said Cklamovski. “This is about all of us — the players, the fans, and the nation.”

Malaysia is in the midst of rebuilding its national squad following inconsistent performances in recent international competitions, and the match against Vietnam is seen as a key test on the road to the 2027 Asian Cup.
