Persis Solo signs Dutch defender Xandro Schenk for 2025/26 season

Xandro Schenk has officially joined Persis Solo for the 2025/26 Indonesia Super League season — the club announced on Saturday (12/7).

The Dutch defender comes as a special request from new coach Peter de Roo who will lead Laskar Sambernyawa next season.

Schenk — who previously played for FC Twente alongside Calvin Verdonk — becomes the sixth foreign player signed by Persis Solo for the upcoming season.

The five other foreign players already with the team:

• Cleylton Santos
• Sho Yamamoto
• Jordy Tutuarima
• Adriano Castanheira
• Kodai Tanaka

The first three names are inherited from the era of coaches Milomir Seslija and Ong Kim Swee, while Tanaka has experience playing under de Roo at Balestier Khalsa.
