Persis Solo Reportedly Targeting Dutch Coach from Singapore League

According to The Straits Times, Peter de Roo emerges as strong candidate to manage Persis Solo after departing Singapore League club Balestier Khalsa.

Laskar Sambernyawa signaled the arrival of Dutch coach through Instagram post featuring windmill and tulip flowers — typical Dutch symbols.

The 55-year-old De Roo decided to end his tenure at Balestier Khalsa after three years managing the club — citing limited resources for team development.

“Balestier Khalsa doesn’t want to develop further and won’t provide additional funds I need to build the team,” stated De Roo.

If materialized, the Dutch coach will lead Persis Solo in the upcoming competition season.
