Persija Jakarta faces a unique situation in the Liga 1 2024/2025 season — the team has yet to secure a victory at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK). In two matches played at SUGBK, the Kemayoran Tigers only managed draws — a 0-0 result against Dewa United and a 1-1 draw against Persebaya Surabaya. However, a different story unfolds when Persija plays at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) — they secured victories against:

  • Barito Putera
  • Persis Solo
  • PSS Sleman
  • Persita Tangerang

The stadium atmosphere plays a significant role in this difference — JIS does not have a running track separating spectators from the field, allowing the supporters’ pressure to have a greater impact on visiting teams. The noise created by The Jakmania at JIS also affects the visiting teams significantly — they struggle to implement their tactics and strategies on the field.
