Persija Jakarta starts first training of 2025-2026 season with incomplete squad

Persija Jakarta began preparations for the 2025-2026 season with their first training session at Nirwana Park, Sawangan, West Java — attended by 24 players from the total squad.

The team nicknamed Macan Kemayoran gathered a combination of young and senior players — including two foreign players Ryo Matsumura and Carlos Eduardo who have joined the training session.

From the planned squad, Gustavo Almeida was still not seen on the field — along with four local players who remained absent from this first training session.
