Persija Jakarta signs striker Eksel Runtukahu from Barito Putera

Persija Jakarta announced a new addition to their attacking line with the signing of Eksel Runtukahu on Wednesday (25/6).

The 26-year-old striker joins the Macan Kemayoran after previously playing for Barito Putera — a club that was relegated at the end of the 2024-2025 Liga 1 season.

During his time with Barito Putera, Runtukahu recorded three goals from 19 appearances in the competition. However, his contribution was not enough to save his club, which only collected 34 points and finished 17th in the standings.
