Persija Jakarta forms strategic partnership with Transjakarta

Persija Jakarta signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) at Bundaran HI Astra Station, Central Jakarta — marking the beginning of a strategic partnership ahead of Super League 2025/2026.

This collaboration will feature Persija players’ faces on the busway fleet — uniting two iconic symbols of the capital: the historic football club and Jakarta’s primary public transportation service.

Mohamad Prapanca, Persija Director, attended alongside Transjakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza at the signing ceremony.

“Persija was born and grew in Jakarta, as did Transjakarta which has become the city’s lifeline. We view this partnership as a synergy between two Jakarta prides to create better positive impact. Hopefully, this step becomes an example of how sports and public services can work together for public happiness,” stated Prapanca.
