Persija Jakarta Extends Carlos Eduardo’s Contract for Next Season

Persija Jakarta has announced the contract extension of goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo for the 2025/2026 season — a decision that strengthens the team’s defensive line following the departure of coach Carlos Pena.

The Brazilian keeper impressed in his debut season — recording eight clean sheets from 18 appearances in Liga 1 2024/2025. Eduardo shared duties with Andritany Ardhiyasa who got playing time in 19 matches.

“I don’t want to judge myself much about last season’s performance,” stated Eduardo who claims to have given his best for Macan Kemayoran.
