Persija Jakarta director speaks up about Thom Haye transfer rumors

Persija Jakarta Director, Mohamad Prapanca, has responded to rumors about Thom Haye’s potential move to the capital city club — several naturalized national team players have also shown interest in joining Macan Kemayoran.

The statement was delivered by Prapanca during the Ngopi Bareng Persija event at Garuda Arena, Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

“Regarding the Thom Haye issue, just know about it. Many naturalized players want to join Persija,” said Prapanca.

The Persija Jakarta director cannot yet confirm the club’s approach to Thom Haye — such decision must be discussed with new coach Mauricio Souza.

“The one who makes decisions on the field is not me, but the coach,” added Prapanca.
