Persija Jakarta are aiming for back-to-back wins in Week 3 of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League. After securing two convincing victories at the start of the season, the Kemayoran Tigers are determined to extend their positive run when they face Malut United at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. local time.

Persija’s confidence is boosted by their dominant results — a 4-0 win over Persita Tangerang and a 3-0 victory against Persis Solo. However, Malut United will not be easy opponents. The newly promoted side remains unbeaten, having defeated Dewa United and held Bali United to a draw (Antara).

Borneo FC chasing perfect start

Aside from Persija, Borneo FC also have the chance to record three straight victories. The Samarinda-based team will host Persijap Jepara at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda, on Sunday (Aug 24) afternoon. Borneo currently sit second in the standings after victories over Bhayangkara FC and PSBS Biak.

Their opponent, Persijap, are also brimming with confidence after shocking reigning champions Persib Bandung with a narrow 2-1 win (Suara.com).
