Persib Head to Thailand Without Kakang and Robi

Persib TC ke Thailand Tanpa Kakang dan Robi Darwis

Persib Bandung will conduct a training camp in Thailand without two key players — Kakang Rudianto and Robi Darwis, who have been called up by the Indonesia U-23 national team.

Both players will join the Garuda Muda squad for the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025, held in Jakarta. The regional tournament will take place from mid-July to early August.

The Thailand training camp is part of Persib’s preparation for two major competitions:

  • Liga 1/Super League 2025-2026
  • AFC Champions League Two 2025-2026

Maung Bandung are set to face a Philippine club — Manila Digger — in their AFC Champions League Two opener in mid-August. Additionally, Kakang and Robi are also ruled out of the 2025 President’s Cup.
