Persib Bandung Hold Training Camp in Thailand Ahead of 2025/2026 Season

Persib Bandung Hold Training Camp in Thailand Ahead of 2025/2026 Season

In preparation for the 2025/2026 Liga 1 season, Persib Bandung have begun their pre-season program by holding a training camp (TC) in Thailand. The country, known as the “Land of the White Elephant,” was chosen for its well-developed football infrastructure and tropical climate similar to Indonesia’s, making it an ideal setting to boost the team’s performance during pre-season.

According to Bolasport.com, Maung Bandung brought a total of 24 players for an intensive 10-day training program, which began with their departure on 17 July 2025. The camp is taking place at a facility equipped with modern training infrastructure and is expected to play a key role in tactical development and improving the squad’s physical condition.

Head coach Bojan Hodak is reported to be focusing on strengthening team cohesion and adapting the squad to new tactical approaches for the upcoming season. The training camp also provides an opportunity for new arrivals—including foreign goalkeeper Adam Przybek—to acclimate to the team’s playing philosophy.

The Thailand camp is also expected to feature a number of friendly matches against local clubs, although official details regarding opponents and match schedules have yet to be announced by the club management.

  • Goalkeepers: Adam Przybek, Teja Paku Alam, Fitrah Maulana

  • Defenders: Julio Cesar, Patricio Matricardi, Al Hamra Hehanussa, Henhen Herdiana, Muhammad Rezaldi Hehanussa, Alfeandra Dewangga Santosa, Zalnando, Kevin Muhammad Islami Pasha

Persib are scheduled to return to Indonesia on 27 July 2025, where they will continue their pre-season program with a series of domestic friendlies ahead of the official competition. This training camp is expected to serve as a critical foundation as the team aim for a strong campaign in the upcoming season.
