Persib Bandung Targeting Luciano Guaycochea from Perak

According to Malaysian journalist Avineshwaran Tahamalengam, Persib Bandung is reportedly eyeing Argentine attacking midfielder Luciano Guaycochea, who currently plays for Perak in the Malaysia Super League.

The 33-year-old midfielder is set to end his stint with Perak at the end of May 2025, right after his contract with the Malaysian club expires.

“Ladies and gentlemen, it is known that Persib Bandung has entered the race to sign Luciano Guaycochea,” wrote Avineshwaran on his social media account.

Guaycochea himself has confirmed his departure from Perak through a farewell statement.

“My time at the club has come to an end. I’m grateful for these three wonderful years, during which my relationship with you, the fans, has been the most important and incredible thing. From the first match to the last, I gave everything without a doubt,” said Luciano Guaycochea.
