Persib Bandung signs Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister’s cousin

Persib Bandung has announced the signing of Argentine midfielder Luciano Guaycochea — cousin of Liverpool player Alexis Mac Allister.

Argentina football analyst based in Asia, Sivan John, notes interesting parallels between Guaycochea at Persib and Mac Allister at Liverpool — both clubs are current champions in their respective leagues.

“Persib and Liverpool share similarities as historically rich clubs, with football flowing through the hearts of people in their respective cities,” says Sivan.

Maung Bandung stands as one of Indonesia’s most successful clubs — matching Persipura’s record of four Indonesian League titles since the competition began in the 1994-1995 season.
