Persib Bandung Signs Iraqi Central Defender

Persib Bandung announced the signing of Iraqi central defender — Frans Putros from Thai club Port FC.

The 32-year-old player will strengthen Maung Bandung’s defensive line for the 2025/2026 season — both in Super League and AFC Champions League Two.

“Squad depth becomes a crucial aspect that Coach Bojan pays great attention to,” stated Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, Adhitia Putra Herawan.

Putros’s arrival is expected to add strength to Persib Bandung’s squad — which will face a packed schedule in two different competitions next season.
