Persib Bandung signs Iraq national team defender Frans Putros

Persib Bandung announced the signing of Iraq national team defender Frans Putros through an official club announcement on Wednesday (16/7/2025).

The introduction of the Iraqi player was done in a unique way — the club placed a flower arrangement at the Asia Afrika Tunnel, Bandung.

Frans Putros — born in Aarhus, Denmark and now 32 years old — joins on a one-season contract on direct recommendation from coach Bojan Hodak.
