Persib Bandung signs former Boca Juniors player for Liga 1

According to Bolasport.com, Luciano Guaycochea has officially joined Persib Bandung for the 2025/2026 Liga 1 season — the announcement was made through the club’s videotron on Wednesday (25/6).

Maung Bandung decided to sign a two-year contract with the Argentine midfielder — this move comes after eight of their foreign players chose to leave following last season.

The 33-year-old midfielder who is a former Boca Juniors academy player was brought in on the recommendation of coach Bojan Hodak — the coach wanted a creative figure to strengthen the team’s attacking line.
