Persib Bandung ready to face Port FC in Piala Presiden 2025 opener

Persib Bandung will face Port FC in the opening match of Piala Presiden 2025 — the game is scheduled to take place at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung Regency on Sunday afternoon at 15:30.

The Bandung Tigers arrive with limited preparation — the squad only started joint training in late June. Meanwhile, Port FC comes in better condition after undergoing preseason several weeks earlier.

Coach Bojan Hodak emphasizes that this tournament will be utilized to prepare the team for bigger competitions.

“We will integrate the team and use this (Piala Presiden) as preparation for the league and Champions League qualification,” said Hodak.

Persib will use this event to strengthen team chemistry before facing two main competitions — Liga 1 and Asian level tournaments.
