Persib Bandung Begins Preparation Ahead of President’s Cup Match vs Port FC

JAKARTA, July 4, 2025 — Persib Bandung has officially begun its preparation for the 2025–2026 season, starting with a training session at the auxiliary field of Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, just four days before their opening Group B match in the 2025 President’s Cup.

The team, under the guidance of head coach Bojan Hodak, will face Thailand’s Port FC in their first fixture. The match is scheduled to take place in two days at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, where Persib will act as the host.

Coach Bojan confirmed that the squad is not yet at full strength, with two foreign signings — Julio Cesar and Ramon Tanque — still absent from team training.

“The squad is not complete yet. Julio and Ramon have not joined the sessions, but we expect full integration soon,” Hodak explained.

Despite the incomplete lineup, the early sessions focused on physical readiness and tactical refreshers for the core squad.
