Persib leads standings with eight-point gap

Persib Bandung is on the verge of clinching the Liga 1 2024/2025 championship, currently holding an eight-point lead over second-placed Dewa United.

With five fixtures remaining in the season, the Bandung Tigers need a minimum of three wins to mathematically secure the title. Their next critical match will be against PSS Sleman this Saturday.

Marc Klok: “Every match is a final now”

Midfielder Marc Klok underlined the intensity of the upcoming fixtures, especially with opponents like PSS Sleman also fighting for survival in the league.

“Every match now is like a final for us. PSS Sleman also needs points to avoid the relegation zone, so this will be a fierce battle,” said Klok.

Persib’s strong form this season has placed them in a favorable position to lift the trophy, but the team remains cautious as the final stretch of the season approaches.
