Persib Bandung leads closer to Liga 1 title with commanding lead

According to Persib’s official website, the Maung Bandung team is in a strong position to claim the Liga 1 2024-2025 title — leading the standings by eight points.

Persib Bandung has accumulated 57 points from 27 matches, establishing a comfortable lead over their closest rivals. Dewa United, in second place, trails by eight points, while Persebaya, in third, sits nine points behind.

Despite the advantage, striker Ciro Alves remains focused and avoids complacency.

“I think there’s no need to think too far ahead. We just need to work hard and take it (the matches) one by one,” stated the Brazilian forward.

With only seven matches left in the season, Persib is edging closer to securing the championship. However, the team must remain consistent to fend off any late challenges from their competitors.
