In the opening match of President’s Cup 2025, Persib Bandung had to acknowledge Port FC’s superiority — the Thai team won 2-0 at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium.

Despite playing as hosts, Maung Bandung failed to capitalize on their advantage — Bojan Hodak’s team conceded a goal at the end of first half through Bordin Pala.

The situation became more challenging for Persib when Peeradol Chamrasamee doubled Port FC’s lead from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.
