Persib Bandung fails in President’s Cup, Bojan Hodak remains optimistic

Persib Bandung concluded their 2025 President’s Cup campaign with disappointing results — only managing to finish third in Group B. The tournament final will feature two guest teams, Oxford United against Port FC, while Dewa United secured third place and Liga Indonesia All Star finished fourth.

Despite falling short of targets, coach Bojan Hodak successfully utilized this pre-season tournament to test his squad’s readiness. All players, both young and foreign recruits, received playing time ahead of the Super League 2025/2026.

New midfielder William Marcilio — acquired from Arema FC — showed his potential by scoring one goal in his two appearances in this tournament.
