Persib Bandung faces attacking crisis ahead of new season

Liga 1 champions Persib Bandung faces a critical situation in their attacking line — with only Dimas Drajad remaining as a pure striker for upcoming competitions.

Despite signing Beckham Putra and Saddil Ramdani as wingers, the Bandung Tigers still lack a main striker. This situation becomes more pressing as the club will compete in three different tournaments — Liga 1, AFC Champions League 2, and President’s Cup 2025.

Persib’s management now faces tight time constraints, with the President’s Cup starting in three weeks. After releasing 13 players post-championship, including eight foreign players, the current squad only has 16 local players — not all of them being regular choices for coach Bojan Hodak.
