Persib Bandung Eyes Liberian Striker Kpah Sherman for Next Season

BANDUNG – According to Malaysian journalist Avineshwaran Taharumalengam, Persib Bandung is monitoring Liberian national team striker Kpah Sherman, who currently plays for Pahang FC in the Malaysian Super League.

The 33-year-old forward has earned 21 caps for Liberia, scoring two goals—a testament to his reliability and experience in international competition.

“Persib Bandung is monitoring Liberian striker Kpah Sherman. The player has been playing in Malaysia since 2017, proven as a formidable striker in the frontline, but also strong with his power,” Avineshwaran wrote on his X account.

Before joining Pahang FC in 2023, Sherman built a strong resume in Malaysian football, having played for several top-tier clubs such as Kedah Darul Aman, Terengganu FC, and PKNS FC.

Persib’s interest in Sherman aligns with their recent strategy under head coach Bojan Hodak—who has a deep understanding of Southeast Asian football talent.

With Persib currently leading the 2024/2025 Liga 1 season and eyeing regional success in competitions like the AFC Cup—securing a seasoned striker like Sherman could add valuable depth and power to their attacking line next season.
