Persib Bandung Enters 2025 President’s Cup Without Championship Target

According to Bolasport.com, Persib Bandung has decided not to set championship targets for the 2025 President’s Cup pre-season tournament — a decision made following the departure of several star players.

This six-team tournament will serve as preparation for the Bandung Tigers ahead of Liga 1 2025/2026 and AFC Champions League Two. In the competition format, participating teams are divided into two groups:

• Group A: Oxford United, Arema FC, Indonesia All Stars
• Group B: Persib Bandung, Port FC, Dewa United

The opening match will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta — featuring Arema FC against Oxford United. On the same day, Persib will host Port FC at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung.

The top teams from each group will meet in the final match. Meanwhile, the third-place playoff will be held on the same day as the final.
