Persib Bandung ends cooperation with David da Silva

Persib Bandung through their official Instagram account announced the release of striker David da Silva on Friday (13/6/2025) — ending his tenure after four seasons with the club.

The Brazilian striker’s performance decline was evident in Liga 1 2024-2025 — a series of injuries limited his contribution on the field.

David da Silva’s statistics this season show suboptimal results — only managing to score eight goals from 21 appearances in Liga 1 competition.

“Thank you David da Silva. Our time together for four seasons must come to an end,” stated Persib Bandung’s official statement.
