Persib Bandung eliminated from Piala Presiden after draw with Dewa United

Persib Bandung had to end their journey in the 2025 Piala Presiden after drawing 1-1 against Dewa United at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium.

Yesterday’s match brought drama when Dewa United player Cassio Scheid received a red card in the 20th minute for a foul on Zulkifili Lukmansyah — forcing his team to play with 10 men.

William Marcilio managed to give Persib the lead in the 66th minute with an accurate shot that goalkeeper Sonny Stevens couldn’t reach. However, the advantage vanished in injury time — Egy Maulana Vikri equalized from the penalty spot.

This draw ensured Maung Bandung could not continue their journey to the finals of the 2025 Piala Presiden and stopped at the group stage.
