Persib Bandung Faces Dilemma with Senior Striker Trio

Persib Bandung — the team close to securing their second consecutive Liga 1 title — now faces serious challenges regarding their attacking line regeneration.

Their foreign striker trio — David Da Silva, Tyronne Del Pino, and Ciro Alves — all aged over 34, show signs of declining performance.

Del Pino, current top scorer with 14 goals, only managed to appear in 26 matches, while Da Silva — last season’s top scorer — has recorded just 19 appearances due to injury problems. Ciro Alves, despite being the most available with 28 appearances, has already reached 36 years of age.

The arrival of Saddil Ramdani is expected to bring young blood to Maung Bandung’s attacking line — a team that needs to consider performance consistency for both Liga 1 and Asian Champions League competitions.
