Two Brazilian Players Join Persib for 2025 Liga 1

Julio Cesar de Freitas Filho and Uilliam Barros — two new signings for Persib Bandung ahead of the 2025-2026 Liga 1 season — both have playing experience in the Kuwait League.

Julio Cesar, a 30-year-old Brazilian center-back, expressed his excitement about joining the Maung Bandung squad. Although he has only spent a few days in Bandung, he said he has started adapting to his new teammates.

“I’ve only been living here for a few days,” Julio Cesar told Persib’s official website.

“I know Beckham, he’s one of the local players,” he added.

In addition to knowing Beckham, the Brazilian defender has also established communication with Uilliam Barros — a new striker who will strengthen Persib Bandung’s attacking line this season.
