Persib Aim for Final Win vs Persis Before Trophy Lift

Liga 1 2024/2025 champions Persib Bandung will host Persis Solo in the final matchweek at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Saturday (May 24).

Although both teams have secured their positions — Persib as league winners and Persis safe from relegation — the home side is determined to end the season with a victory ahead of the trophy celebration.

Persib coach Bojan Hodak emphasized that his squad is fully motivated to deliver a strong performance:

“This is our last home match and we want to celebrate with the fans. A win would be the perfect way to lift the trophy.”

The match offers Maung Bandung a chance to give one last gift to the Bobotoh, whose loyal support has been vital throughout the season. A festive atmosphere is expected as the Liga 1 trophy will be officially lifted after the final whistle.
