Persebaya Interested In Bringing Rachmat Irianto Back From Persib Bandung

Persebaya Surabaya is reportedly targeting a reunion with former player Rachmat Irianto, who is currently under contract with Persib Bandung.

The Indonesian national team midfielder began his professional journey at Persebaya, where he was nurtured through the youth system before transferring to Persib in 2022.

Impressive start, current struggles

During his first two seasons with Persib Bandung, Rachmat Irianto delivered solid performances — making 25 appearances in Liga 1 2022/2023 and 29 matches in the 2023/2024 season.

However, the 25-year-old is now facing challenges in the ongoing 2024/2025 Liga 1 season, creating an opportunity for Persebaya to consider bringing him back to Surabaya.
