Persebaya starts new season preparation with centralized training at GBT

Eduardo Perez, Persebaya Surabaya’s head coach, has initiated a centralized training program at the Gelora Bung Tomo (GBT) complex — a strategic move to prepare the team for the 2025/2026 season.

The team, nicknamed Bajol Ijo, began their first training session earlier this week — focusing on improving physical condition and building player chemistry.

This preparation program extends beyond field training — the team utilizes all available facilities at the GBT complex to support their Liga 1 preparation activities.

“There are many things we will work on during these early weeks,” stated Eduardo Perez.
