Persebaya Surabaya has issued an official statement condemning the actions of individuals who committed theft while posing as supporters of the club in Kediri, just hours before their Liga 1 match against Persik Kediri.

According to the statement posted on the club’s verified social media account, the incident took place early in the morning near Brawijaya Stadium.

“A group of thieves posing as Persebaya supporters committed a crime at a fruit shop around Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri, early this morning,” the club stated.

Persebaya shares video, coordinates with local police

The club did not stay silent. In response, Persebaya Surabaya released surveillance footage of the incident on their official platforms.

“Persebaya is currently coordinating with police in Kediri to arrest and legally process the perpetrators as seen in this video,” the statement continued.
