Persebaya Surabaya Focuses on Recovery Ahead of East Java Derby vs Arema FC

Persebaya Surabaya is intensifying preparations ahead of the high-stakes East Java Derby against Arema FC in Week 30 of the 2024/2025 Liga 1 season. The match will be held at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Gianyar.

The Green Crocodiles recently secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Madura United at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, despite playing the entire second half with only 10 men.

Head coach Paul Munster emphasized that the team’s current priority is the recovery of players, especially those who suffered injuries during the Suramadu Derby.

“Yes, the players were present today. So, the players’ condition is good,” said the Northern Irish coach during a team training session.
