Pep Guardiola has stressed the importance of Manchester City fans’ support ahead of their crucial Premier League clash against Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium this Tuesday.

“We need our supporters from the first minute,” said Guardiola. “Don’t wait — we need them to keep supporting and making noise because this is a final for us.”

City and Villa are separated by just one point in the tight race for Champions League qualification. The outcome of this match could prove decisive in determining their European fate next season. Newcastle United, Chelsea, and Nottingham Forest also remain in contention for a top-four finish.
