Pedro Neto aims to dedicate Club World Cup title to late Jota

Chelsea star Pedro Neto is determined to deliver his best performance against Paris Saint-Germain in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final at MetLife Stadium.

The match between the two European elite clubs — scheduled for early morning — becomes a special moment for Neto to commemorate his late friend, Diogo Jota.

Jota passed away in a car accident on the A-52 highway near Zamora, Sanabria, Spain about ten days ago — after his car tire burst while attempting to overtake another vehicle.

“When I step onto the field this Sunday, I know that I want to win this competition for Diogo Jota,” Neto told DAZN.
