Pedro Acosta struggles with tough start at KTM in 2025 MotoGP

According to Bolasport.com, Pedro Acosta has had a disappointing start to the 2025 MotoGP season with the Red Bull KTM Factory Team — collecting only 13 points from the first two races.

This performance is a stark contrast to last season when the rider known as “The Shark of Mazarrón” impressed as a rookie — securing five podiums in main races and four podiums in sprint races.

Despite being under contract until 2026 with the Austrian manufacturer, rumors have begun circulating about Acosta’s future at KTM. LCR Honda team manager Lucio Cecchinello has already expressed interest in signing the 20-year-old rider.
