Pedro Acosta reveals difficult situation with Red Bull KTM

Pedro Acosta, Red Bull KTM rider, acknowledges going through a challenging period in his world championship career — despite signs of performance improvement with his team.

The 21-year-old rider faces various challenges, including team issues and economic constraints affecting his performance. Nevertheless, Acosta remains loyal to KTM — the team he’s been with since his Moto3 debut four years ago.

“I wouldn’t say last year was a bad year because ultimately, the first year in MotoGP, even though it went poorly, was a year to gain experience,” Acosta told MotoSan.

His rookie season last year became a valuable learning experience for the Murcia-born rider. Now in the 2025 season, Acosta has different targets — his focus isn’t just on victories, but on the struggle to consistently perform competitively in every race.
