PBVSI Announces New Squad for Men’s National Volleyball Team at AVC Nations Cup

PBVSI has announced the latest composition of Indonesia’s men’s national volleyball team for the 2025 AVC Nations Cup — a squad now filled with new faces.

Indonesia is placed in Group A alongside Thailand and host Bahrain — an opportunity to prove themselves after their dominance at the SEA Games two years ago.

Several senior players from Bhayangkara are absent from this squad:

• Agil Angga
• Yuda Mardiansyah Putra
• Rendy Tamamilang
• Alfin Daniel
• Nizar Julfikar

This opportunity is being seized by young players, especially from Samator club. Tedy Oka Syahputra, a middle blocker who impressed with Bank SumselBabel and Samator in Proliga, gets his senior national team debut. Muhammad Ega Yuri Pradana, another blocker from Samator, will also make his debut after previously playing in the ASEAN University Games.
