PBSI Announces Indonesia Squad for 2025 Sudirman Cup

According to PBSI, the Indonesian badminton team has announced their player roster for the 2025 Sudirman Cup — the tournament that will be held at Fenghuang Gymnasium, Xiamen, China from April 25 to May 4.

Indonesia, seeded second, is drawn in Group D — a group reminiscent of their Sudirman Cup formation eight years ago with the presence of Denmark and India, plus England.

“This is not an easy draw for us but we have prepared ourselves as best as possible to compete in the Sudirman Cup,” stated PBSI’s Head of Achievement Development, Eng Hian.

“The team composition combines senior players and Indonesia’s future young talents. The selection criteria clearly refers to individual achievements, regeneration process, and player readiness,” he added.

Jonatan Christie and Gregoria Mariska Tunjung will lead the singles sector — while Alwi, Ubed, and Putri get the opportunity to gain experience in this prestigious team event.
