PBSI Announces Fajar/Fikri for Three BWF Tournaments in July

Citing Bolasport.com, the PBSI men’s doubles coach Antonius Budi Ariantho announced a new partnership between Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri for three BWF tournaments coming up in July.

This decision was made due to the temporary absence of their regular partners — Daniel Marthin, who is still recovering from injury, and Muhammad Rian Ardianto, who is on leave for family matters.

The three tournaments that this new pair will participate in are:

  • Japan Open 2025 (Super 750) – July 15-20
  • China Open 2025 (Super 1000) – July 22-27
  • Macau Open 2025 (Super 300) – July 29-August 3

This announcement was made during the ongoing Indonesia Open 2025, as Rian recently married former national women’s doubles shuttler Ribka Sugiarto at the end of last year.
