PB POBSI ready to host international billiards tournament in Jakarta

Hary Tanoesoedibjo, Chairman of PB POBSI, announced the organization of international billiards tournament “Predator-PBC Indonesia International Open 2025” — competition that will take place at Pro Billiard Center Jakarta on July 12-18.

The announcement was made during press conference in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta — marking a major step in developing billiards sport in Indonesia.

“We are honestly proud of this event at POBSI. We want to change the public perception of billiards. Previously often viewed negatively, now we want to show that this is a serious, healthy sport that can become a professional career for young athletes,” stated Hary.

The 60-year-old chairman emphasized billiards’ potential as sports industry — focusing on professional athlete development and promising career opportunities.

“We want to encourage athletes to focus on achievements and make this sport a source of income,” added Hary.
